John Lee Hooker Skull Sketch

Here is my sketch for today. There's something nice about a hand drawn sketch when most of my creativity is done on the computer. The spontaneity and the imperfection gives it personality. This is my John Lee Hooker skull. He's one of the greatest Blues guitar players.  Every heard Boom, Boom, Boom? or Boogie Chillin?  you should.

Design for Chile

Created this work for the Design for Chile initiative. I was excited to be able to participate in design for a great cause. I hope the work will inspire people to donate and get involved however they can to help the earthquake victims of Chile rebuild their lives.

Design for Chile has organized to raise funds to be donated to entities that are helping rebuild the country, and also, to unify the different actions and initiatives being made by the design world for Chile. The staff is contacting different designers and groups, both national and international, asking for their support and the donation of custom made prints that will be sold at their website. After that, all profits will be donated to help Chile in the best way possible. An exhibition will be held soon, so stay tuned for details. Visit designforchile.com to get involved and for future updates.

DJ Skull

Skulls and DJs are cool, thought they might be even cooler together. This bold graphic also works in different colors. Feel free to print it out and paste it somewhere cool. I could post some other variations. I'm going to paint this also (not sure how) but I hope to post pictures of the results, soon. let me know what you think.
